Family Youth Portal
Build financial confidence together — as a family.
A parent-owned subscription with four learning experiences for children: a simulated practice portfolio, family savings goals, a kid business lab, and a community giving lab.
Four child learning experiences
Each experience is clearly separated. Children cannot move between experiences or access parent controls.
Practice Portfolio
Simulated cash, Treasury, and gold choices with dated hypothetical prices, fees, and adverse outcomes. All balances are clearly labelled SIMULATED — NO ASSET OWNERSHIP.
- Simulated cash, T-bill, T-note, and gold positions
- Dated hypothetical prices with source timestamps
- Simulated fees and adverse outcome scenarios
- Leaderboard uses pseudonyms — private to the family
- No real purchase, transfer, or ownership
Family Goals
Parent-created savings goals per child or sibling, with permissioned sibling visibility. No transfer of one child's custodial assets to another.
- Parent creates and names goals per child
- Optional sibling visibility controlled by parent
- Progress tracking with milestone reminders
- No real fund transfer between children
- Parent can close or modify any goal at any time
Kid Business Lab
Age-appropriate idea cards — tutoring, craft design, neighborhood service — with a sandbox budget covering costs, pricing, time, safety, and parent approval.
- Idea cards: tutoring, craft design, neighborhood service, and more
- Sandbox budget with costs, pricing, and time estimates
- Safety and parent-approval steps built in
- Parent must approve each business idea before the child proceeds
- No real merchant account, paid work authorisation, or tax determination
Community Giving Lab
Child-selected cause education and a hypothetical giving goal. Any real donation requires a parent-initiated payment to a verified recipient through approved rails.
- Child browses cause education cards
- Sets a hypothetical giving goal
- Parent initiates any real donation through approved rails
- Recipient identity, fee/receipt, and tax status disclosed before parent authorizes
- No claim that a child has founded a charitable nonprofit
Parent controls
The parent or guardian is the paying account holder and has full visibility and control over every child subprofile.
- Create, view, restrict, or close each child subprofile
- Set spending limits and transaction notifications
- Freeze or unfreeze child access
- Approve each business idea before the child proceeds
- Authorize any real donation to a verified recipient
- Review and delete child data at any time
- Stronger verification required for parent account changes
- All parent changes are logged with timestamp and authorizer
Age and consent
Children under 13 require a verifiable parental consent process before any personal data is collected. BondBridge collects the minimum necessary data. Parents have full review and deletion controls. Separate consent is required for any disclosure to named third parties.
A child signs in through a child-safe subprofile. Children cannot independently accept financial terms, spend, transfer, donate, trade, open accounts, add siblings, or change parent controls.
Older teens still require the authority and approvals dictated by the partner product and applicable law.
Financial games
Progressively harder games on needs vs wants, bill timing, savings targets, Treasury maturity, early-sale loss, gold premium/spread, budget risk, scams, and cooperative family goals. Each result is explained. Scenarios are randomised. Mastery scores are tied to correct answers.
Course-completion certificates are awarded for passed assessments only — not financial licences.
Default: private family leaderboard with pseudonyms. No public score or social sharing for under-13 users. For older minors, an optional parent-controlled share card shows alias and score only — no name, age, school, location, image, contact, or holdings. Includes revoke/delete control and abuse reporting.
Family Youth Portal — Subscription
Subscription preview
$4.99 + 12 × $0.99 = $16.87 for the family subscription. Excludes any optional provider card, account, or asset fees.
One subscription covers the number of children stated on the checkout and terms. No separate charge per sibling.
The $4.99/$0.99 portal subscription does not purchase or guarantee a debit or prepaid card. A card is a separate future issuer/processor product requiring its own authorisation, KYC/CIP, and fee disclosures.
Planned. Parent approval and appropriate privacy and account safeguards are required before live access.
